Frequently asked

Questions, answered plainly.

The essentials on how Lumis Aviation works — where we operate, the aircraft we care for, how a brief is scoped and priced, and the standards we hold to. For anything else, simply ask.

Where is Lumis Aviation based?

Lumis Aviation is based in Prague at Václav Havel Airport (LKPR), Terminal 3 — the airport's dedicated home for private and business aviation — and serves clients across Central Europe. Care travels with the aircraft across the region's business-aviation corridors.

What aircraft do you detail?

The full range of business aircraft: light jets and turboprops (Citation CJ series, Phenom 300, Pilatus PC-24), midsize and super-midsize types (Citation XLS+, Challenger 300/350, Falcon 2000), and large-cabin, long-range aircraft (Gulfstream, Bombardier Global, Challenger 650, Falcon 8X).

How much does private aircraft detailing cost?

Every engagement is scoped and priced individually — by aircraft size, condition, scope of work, access, and turnaround — rather than a fixed price list. Request a service brief and we prepare a precise, written quote for your airframe, with the price agreed before any work begins.

What services does Lumis Aviation provide?

Exterior detailing and protection, interior and cabin detailing, multi-stage paint correction, ceramic and surface coatings, brightwork and polished-metal restoration, and turnaround and fleet-care programmes. See Services.

Are your products and methods aircraft-safe?

Yes. We use aircraft-approved, surface-matched products only, mask seals, probes and sensitive areas before work begins, and follow a documented, checklist-driven process with a final quality-control pass and a service report. See our standards.

Do you work with FBOs, operators, and flight departments?

Yes. Lumis works as a preferred vendor or subcontractor to FBOs and operators — airside-credentialed and insured — coordinating scheduled turnarounds and recurring fleet care around your procedures and departure windows. For FBOs & Operators.

How long does a detail take?

It depends on aircraft size and scope. Many engagements are planned as overnight or between-sector turnarounds so the aircraft is ready before its next departure; larger or restoration-grade work is scheduled to your ground time.

Do you offer ceramic coating and paint correction?

Yes. We provide multi-stage paint correction to remove swirls, oxidation and defects, and long-term ceramic and surface protection that preserves gloss and eases future cleaning.

Is my aircraft's information kept confidential?

Confidential by default. No tail numbers, schedules, or cabin imagery are released without written approval.

How do I request a quote?

Use Request a Service Brief, or email hello@lumisaviation.com with the aircraft and your operating window. We prepare a service brief scoped to your airframe, with a clear price agreed before any work begins.
